Tool can be a hard band to get into for some, mostly because Tool fans bring a passion and dedication that can scare people away and, at times, can verge on straight-up gatekeeping. Everyone knows Nirvana and Kurt Cobain but the same cannot be said of Tool and Maynard James Keenan.
